We are within a 15 minute drive of North Leeds, Otley, Wetherby, Knaresborough, Harrogate and surrounding villages. The number 36 bus stops at the top of the road and there is a regular train service through Pannal, making getting to Claro Hill Vets very accessible.
The practice is purpose-built by an experienced veterinary builder, to the highest standards and kitted out with the latest in veterinary equipment and technology.
Our fabulous site has been designed and built from scratch and something we are very proud of. We have 3 consulting rooms, 2 sterile operating theatres, a dental suite, digital x-ray, a state-of-the-art CT scanner, an in-house Idexx laboratory for a quick turnaround on blood tests, and separate dog and cat wards. Cattery is quiet and tucked away on the opposite side of the building from the dogs. The cat condos have been designed to be spacious, comfortable and as stress free as possible for your cat’s stay with us, meeting the ISFM Cat Friendly GOLD standards.
We understand how important continuity of care is as a pet owner. We aim to book you in with the same vet or nurse at each visit, and you can request to see a certain team member. Our team of dedicated professionals will ensure they know your pet’s medical history before an appointment and we look forward to getting to know you and your pets.

We are family run and independent, allowing us to keep prices fair, quality of care high and personal service top notch. However, we aren’t stubborn and will always look for support from experts in different fields if needed.
Although we want to show our warmth and compassion, we should also not be ashamed of our ‘technical know how’. It’s what makes us reliable and it grows trust.
The quality of our clinical care is second to none. The latest technologies on site help us continue to strive for better. Excellence and efficiency runs through the whole practice from the way we answer the phone to the staff and the facilities.
An honest approach is the right approach. We ensure our clients know exactly what we are doing and why. We are upfront about costs and any possible negative outcomes. Clarity is key and always welcomed.
We know you want a vet not a friend, however, we can still be friendly! We are confident of our skills but never arrogant.
It’s why we do what we do after all. We truly care about the well-being of the animals and of course we’re empathetic to their owners too. We look out for our team and appreciate their well-being which makes us a better practice all round.
