We are delighted to be able to share a film about Claro Hill Vets, with an insight into our facilities, our team and our ethos.
Concerned about your pet when we’re closed? Then why not drop us an email, text or WhatsApp message to our Claro Hill mobile?
From Monday to Friday (until 11pm and after 7am), we are offering an advice service on the mobile number 07903 666034. This number will be manned by one of our own clinical staff members.
The team will get back to you promptly and advise whether your dog or cat should be seen by one of our Out of Hours providers, or whether your pet can wait until the next day for an appointment with us.
You can easily upload and send a video or photo of something you are concerned about, like a wound.
As a small team, we are unfortunately unable to provide 24/7 veterinary care at the moment. We need to know we can provide the best service to you during the day and not be tired from working a night shift the night before.
We have the support of the fantastic Bishopton Vets at Ripon (01765 602396) and Swift Referrals at Wetherby (01937 374888) who offer a dedicated night service, and provide our Out of Hours emergency cover.
Save the number in your phone (07903 666034) and know you can contact us for advice.
We now offer FREE UNLIMITED vet and nurse consults as part of our monthly health plans.
At £25 per month for cats and £29.50 for dogs, you can spread the cost of healthcare and make great savings using our Complete Health plan.
At Claro Hills Vets, we want to see happy, healthy pets and we want to help them live their best life.
We encourage preventative health care, from vaccinations to flea, worm and tick treatment.
We also recommend regular check ups to detect any problems or diseases early on, so we can act on them and treat them appropriately.
We understand how worrying it is when a pet is unwell. By including consultations in our health plan, it helps to spread the cost of healthcare across the year and takes a weight off your mind.

Ask us about our essentials plan if you’d rather not include unlimited consultations but still enjoy the benefits of the rest of the plan.
Why Wellness Clinics should not just be limited to senior pets….
The aim of our wellness clinics to have a baseline for what is “normal” for your pet so if they are unwell in the future we have a reference for them for comparison. The blood and urine tests that are performed can also help to detect disease early and therefore to increase the life expectancy of your pet and improve the quality of their life.
Early detection of disease, allows us to put plans and strategies in place to manage or treat conditions, before they become life-limiting. Overall, having a positive impact on your pet’s comfort level and quality of life.
This can include evidence of dental disease, arthritis, spotting lumps and bumps early, discovering any congenital or underlying health issues, getting to the bottom of that intermittent vomiting or diarrhoea, and more…
The 30 minute appointment is initially nurse led. It includes history taking, observations of your pet, a full examination from top to toe, blood tests, blood pressure monitoring and urinalysis. The cost of which is £100, making huge savings on those individually priced items.
The nurses, Kathryn and Stacey, will then discuss their findings and your pet’s results with one of our vets so we can action anything that needs actioning. They will also make recommendations regarding diet, as well as preventative flea, worm and tick treatment.
