We would ask your vet to complete a request form specifying the body areas that need to be imaged and the timescale they would like the report back in (either 1-5 working days, 24 hours or 4 hours for urgent cases) and either upload the full clinical history.
The patient will have blood tests prior to anaesthesia to ensure it is safe to proceed. We will then run the scans under sedation or anaesthesia to gain the images as requested.

If required, contrast studies will be performed, followed by 4 hours of intravenous fluids.
The images will be transferred externally to a diagnostic imager and a comprehensive report will be sent back to the vet for ongoing management of the case.
